In August 1995, John LoPriore founded LoPriore Insurance Agency with nothing more than a dream and the drive to make it come true. The agency began humbly in a back room in Cambridge Massachusetts as a startup scratch insurance agency. John worked night and day, pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming a business owner. Then, that hard work paid off. In a mere 18 months, he moved his operations to his hometown of Medford, Massachusetts.
By the year 2000 with a growing team of dedicated, knowledgable agents, the company had expanded substantially and relocated in April to a larger office on Main Street. The purchase of LJC Insurance Agency in Malden, Massachusetts in 2002 lead to another relocation to the office in Medford. In 2003 and 2004, the entire company made a commitment to the environment with the decision to go green. Thus, we lowered its carbon footprint with a paperless system that scans and emails all files and documents. In 2005, Cardinal Chesnick Agency in Stoneham, Massachusetts was acquired, and LoPriore opened a second agency.
In 2006, LoPriore took the first step in a series of changes that would lead the agency where it is today with an investment in a new management system and technology upgrades to streamline operations. Further, spring of 2007 came in with the purchase of a new location at 426 Main Street in Stoneham Square. The new location proved a good choice as it's the same location we operate from today.
In 2009, the entire operation consolidated into one central office with a team of experienced, licensed professionals all under one roof. This powerhouse team began a new mission in 2010 with a focus on customer experience and increased customer satisfaction. Thus, simplifying the insurance shopping process and make it convenient for customers to work with the agency.
2013 brought major changes as the LoPriore team spent the year evaluating the insurance companies they partner with and securing additional partners with more insurance products. The changes resulted in a variety of additional choices and competitive pricing options for every customer. Then, in 2016, as the technological value became more apparent, the company introduced DocuSign. This made it more convenient than ever for customers to work with LoPriore Insurance Agency. LoPriore relaunched the website in 2017 with a focus on convenience for the customer with a commitment to social media and convenient online insurance choices.
